December 2005

As previous posting, now I am trying to switch partially (to store) my email from Yahoo to Gmail. I believe that now many of us already have gmail account(s), but I think it is not too late if I would share this opportunity to others who doesn’t have. Currently I have many invitations remaining. Please leave your comment if you wish to get it one, subject to availability.

Update :

Now you don’t need to have a gmail invitation to create a Gmail account. You may directly go to Gmail sign up page here.

1. Manage all personal emails and mailing lists. With combination of gmail and my personal domain, I utilize both for my email correspondence starts from next year. Gmail have its power of large capacity (and counting), pop3 and smtp with archiving feature. My hosting offers unlimited email accounts with forwarder. So far, I cannot combine these two power using OutlookExpress but Thunderbird do it well.
2. Optimize bandwidth usage and time by using Email client, (such as Thunderbird) and proper filtering. Previously, I used web based email mode for reading and writing, now I am trying to reduce it by using email application. It is very useful due to it is impossible to “always connected” especially when I go back to my hometown. Reading old emails (especially tech related) offline is alternative way to spending free time :).

I do not have proper way to organize my browsing habbits, so it is remain unchanged :)

IE6.0 :

Ancur

Firefox 1.5 :

Lumayan

Update 04.48 :
Setelah diusut, ternyata text size IE diset ke largest. Biasanya text size dise lebih gede jika mode ngantuk sudah ON :).
